In February, the bogie wheels were cast at the Boro Foundry in Lye, West Midlands. Here you can see one of the wheels which has been broken out of the mould. The vertical "turrets" are the risers which allow molten metal to be poured into the mould and for the gasses to escape. These risers will be removed by the foundry.
