27 April 2019 - Clan Project Open Day in Sheffield
27/04/2019
On Saturday 27 April, the Clan Project will be hosting an Open Day at CTL Seal's premises in Sheffield.

Come and have a look at how the project is progressing. All of the frame components will be laid out as frame assembly is about to commence. This will be your last chance to see the separate components that make up Hengist's chassis. You will also be able to see some of the bogie components that have been procured so far and talk to the project team.

You can find more details here https://www.theclanproject.org/Clan_OpenDay.php

The Clan Project held an Open Day at CTL Seal's premises in Sheffield on 27 April. E.S.Cox was responsible for the design of the British Railways Standard Steam Locomotives and we were privileged to be joined by his family. Daughter Diane typed the manuscripts of his books and she was accompanied by grandson Jonathan and his wife Louise together with great grand daughters Jasmine and Cloe. President James Baldwin and Chairman Allan Jones welcomed them to the event.
