  Steve Lucas was the artist who created the illustration of 72010 that you can see in the header of our web site and we are very grateful to him. Remember that this of a view of 72010 as it will be built and incorporates the modifications that were included in the (never built) Lot 242 Clans. If you are interested in Spitfires, then Steve has a e-book for sale on his web site which details everything about every single Spitfire type ever built, fully illustrated by him.

  As the builders of new main line steam locomotive No. 60163 Tornado, we have therefore decided to set ourselves a new challenge: to develop, build and operate an improved Gresley class P2 Mikado steam locomotive for main line and preserved railway use.

  The 82045 Steam Locomotive Trust is in the process of building the next member of the extinct Riddles BR 3MT 2-6-2 82000 tank class. Unlike many of the current new build projects, which are aiming to recreate larger main-line types, the new loco is intended specifically for heritage line use.
