The reverser control in the cab consists of a number of parts. One housing contains the gearing operates the drivers indicator drum. The housing in the cab is next to the reverser hand wheel. Today we needed to ream the hole for the locking handle plunger. This makes sure that the handwheel is locked in position. presto Tools supplied us with an extra long reamer to do the job. The 2 "eyes" at the top are for the pin that retains the locking handle. |
