3D model of Hengist frames

	A 3D model has been created that shows the frame components currently held in stock are that are currently being machined ready for the frame assembly. Even people close to the project that are used to seeing new components being manufactured or watching the updates on the website have been surprised and impressed just how much of a locomotive we have. In short, in a few months we will have the above model at 1:1 scale in steel sat in front of us! To be added to the model are the cab, smokebox and deflectors which are already completed. Once the frames have been assembled the rear dragbox will be completed which will then allow the rear frame extensions to be added to complete the first full set of Standard Class 6 frames seen since the late 60's. It is through the generosity of our members and supporters that we have got this far, you will soon have a full set of frames to come and visit! As always though the speed of progress is dependent on funding so if you would like to become a member or donate to the project please do so via this website or one of our leaflets that can now be found at a large number of railway related sites
